Want to Host An Event or Panel for 2010?

Postby ClearlyPixelated » Wed Dec 02, 2009 5:29 pm

Hey everyone I'm the Events and Panels Director for Izumicon 2010! If you have an idea, panel, or an event then this is the place you need to be!

Do you think that you have a good idea for an event or panel for Izumicon 2010? Then fill out this form here and get your ideas out and on the way!
If you have already sent your idea (pre-forum Armageddon), don't worry I have yours already. My files didn't bite the dust. So do not re-send your information.

Questions? Email me at: ge2events@gmail.com

To get a FREE badge via panels/events/workshops, you must submit and be approved for 6 hours of panels/events/workshops. Workshops are considered 1.5 times the amount of a regular hour of programming since you will be providing crafts, food, goods, etc. for the participants. For example then 4, one hour workshops would also meet the requirements for a free badge. Once the status of a free badge is achieved and approved I will send the panelist a email requesting their information. Failure to respond to the email provided via their own panel submission will result in a forfeit in their free badge. Izumicon reserves the right to ask for more than the required amount of panel hours, drop panels from the schedule, or otherwise void the free badge at any time.

The form is not loading. I would like to put in a request to have TriPoint come back next year.

Just FYI all panels up until today have been approved to go onto the schedule, whether you've gotten a confirmation email or not.

Oh good, that include the Human Form Pokemon Battle? Need to make sure, because if so I need to start planning and make sure of the day and such we'd be getting our panel.

Forgive me, but its been some time since I applied for TriPoint Sparring to host an event. Are the individual events still up for debate?

Clearly, what about people like me who submitted more than one panel idea? lol, I think you mean this for the Pokemon one in my case, if not, then it's the other but I'd like to know for sure when you have a moment.

LOL! Girl you know you're good. If you have submitted more than one, then I did only send out one thumbs up to you i.e. both of your panels have a green light.

OKC lolitas sent a fashion show proposal back in january and we never got anything back. I resent it just now, but we really need an answer soon if you want us to put together an amazing show for you guys.

I'm not sure exactly where to pitch my idea, but this is the best place I've seen. Also, I'd appreciate it if my ideas could be forwarded to whomever makes such decisions, or steer me in their direction. (I'll also fill out the form above, assuming that it's valid for this next coming con.)

In short, I've partaken in dance at the Castle of Muskogee and am hoping (along with several well-qualified dancers) to host a ball for IzumiCon. We attempted to do so at Tokyo in Tulsa, but because of the horrible timing there was a huge gap in cooperation. Even so, I was really overwhelmed with how well things went, and want to expand the success.

Thank you.

Hey sweetheart! Yep this is the best place for what you talked about, but you did the right thing. :) I already sent your confirmation out. If you have any more questions, PM or email me. (I'm that person who makes "those decisions" LOL!)
Cheers!

On my plus sized cosplay form I accidently put "Any time" on the "Do you have a perfered time or day" I needed to put Saturday, anytime.

That's okay, we're just looking for the best way to contact you if we can't find you at the con and you're not at your panel.

Well if something doesn't apply, then just put N/A or NONE in the blank.
